The pilot union of TAP Air Portugal has voiced its opposition to a potential agreement with Lufthansa Group. In a letter sent to the government, the union expressed concerns that the deal posed risks to labor relations and the stability of the Lisbon hub.
The union accused Lufthansa of “hostile and unethical practices toward unions” and stressed the importance of any new investor showing strong compliance not only in financial and technological aspects but also in respecting workers’ rights.
